How to Create a 3D Vector Text Effect in CorelDRAW (Animation-Style)

Tap this link and see bottom

1. Create the Base Text

  1. Open CorelDRAW and choose the Text Tool (F8).

  2. Type your text (e.g., Super Speed).

  3. Select a bold or italic font for a dynamic, racing look.

  4. Adjust kerning and size as needed.

2. Convert Text to Curves

  1. With your text selected, press Ctrl + Q to Convert to Curves.

  2. Now your text is editable like vector shapes.

3. Create the 3D Extrusion Look

  1. Duplicate the text (Ctrl + D).

  2. Move the duplicate slightly down-right to create a shadow/extruded direction.

  3. Change its color (e.g., dark grey or black).

  4. With both selected, use Blend Tool:

    • Go to Effects → Blend.

    • Blend from back copy to front copy.

    • Increase steps (20–60) until it looks like smooth 3D depth.

4. Add Colorful Motion Streaks (like in your image)

  1. Draw irregular shapes using the Bezier Tool or Freehand Tool.

  2. Apply bright colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, purple, orange.

  3. Place these shapes behind the main text (Ctrl + PageDown).

  4. Adjust transparency:

    • Use Transparency Tool (Uniform/Linear).

    • Lower opacity to blend with text.

5. Add Thick Outline to Text

  1. Select the main text.

  2. Go to Outline Pen Tool.

  3. Choose:

    • Thick outline (2–5pt)

    • Color: black or white depending on your background.

  4. Convert outline to object (Arrange → Convert Outline to Object) if needed.

6. Create the White Sticker Border (as in your example)

  1. Duplicate the entire text group.

  2. Increase Contour:

    • Go to Effects → Contour.

    • Apply an Outside Contour (2–4 mm).

  3. Fill with white.

  4. Add a thin black outline for the sticker effect.

7. Add Final Highlights & Depth

Optional but recommended:

  • Use Transparency Tool to create shiny gradients.

  • Add subtle Gaussian Blur to the background streaks.

  • Apply Drop Shadow to make the text pop.

8. Group & Export

  1. Select all elements → Ctrl + G (Group).

  2. Export your 3D vector:

    • PNG (transparent background)

    • SVG / EPS for scalable vector

    • GIF/MP4 if animating later.
